Adele Kimber

Adele began her career writing about science and technology, subsequently editing industry weekly newspaper The Engineer and launching its website. She also acted as a consultant editor on several global chemical industry online information sources and magazines.

Adele also has plenty of experience writing about the world of work since joining the launch team of Personnel Today and becoming editor in the early 1990s. Her career went on to include managing a relaunch of research publication, IRS Employment Review and a spell as launch editor on leading jobsite, totaljobs.com.

She now oversees a mix of research and publishing projects at Working Week and acts as a consultant for some international publishing ventures. Specific assignments include creating the careers content for new websites launched by the totaljobs.com; researching and writing Volunteering England’s latest annual report; helping the Electricity Alliance to launch a new staff newspaper; editing reports for Stonewall; and working with The Work Foundation on research and media projects.
